The Music Trade opened for business in September 2003, and is owned and run by Jon Benns and Caroline McQuillan-Benns BMus.

Jon is a veteran of the professional music and entertainment scene as both performer and manager, and still gigs occasionally around the area with his band The Happy Accidents.

Caroline is a respected and successful piano-teacher. She has been teaching for 25 years, both from home and in local schools. She has also directed, arranged and played the music for countless local amateur productions.

Caroline is also a member of “Gloucestershire’s favourite acoustic band”, The Happy Accidents.
