“The Music Trade” sells new and second-hand musical instruments and equipment, accessories and sheet music.

We cater for all ages and abilities, from the absolute beginner to the top professional. We invite schools to open an account with us: in most cases we can offer a 10% discount off list prices.

We can service or repair your instrument. We can help and advise you with all aspects of all things musical. From your first recorder lesson to how to mike-up your drum kit at Glastonbury.

Hopefully, this Website will give you some idea of what we can do for you. Obviously our stock is constantly changing, so some of the items listed here will be sold before the Website can be updated, but then the new stock might include exactly what you are looking for. We believe that buying a musical instrument should have the ‘personal touch’, and would encourage you to visit the shop and talk to us. If we don’t have what you are looking for, we will try our utmost to get it for you.
